This week, I’ve been on a Luna Mason binge, and I’m absolutely loving her books! I just finished this one, and I feel so inspired and in love. I devoured it in just two days—I was completely sucked into Sienna and Keller’s story.
At the end of the day, we read these kinds of books to inspire us to dream, and it’s been a while since I’ve read one that made me feel this way. Sienna finds her alpha male protector—strong, generous, and utterly devoted to her—the kind of love many of us dream of experiencing.
From the very first page, I was hooked. The story begins with Sienna going to a club to let loose after breaking up with her obsessive, addict ex-boyfriend who cheated on her. In a twist of fate, while trying to steady herself, she accidentally grabs Keller’s big dick. Keller—a sexy, badass boxer with a promising career and a mafia hitman—helps her up, saving her from falling. From that moment on, he becomes her savior and lover.
As the story unfolds, their chemistry is undeniable, and you can feel the depth of their love. Both carry scars from past traumas, but together, they find peace. It’s a true soulmate connection, though they must battle their own demons to fully embrace it.
I wish I had started my journey into the Luna Mason world with this book instead of Detained! It was a good read but had a completely different vibe, and I connected much more with this one. That said, I’m really enjoying Luna Mason’s books—I can definitely say they’re for the girlies. I also loved the steamy scenes; the descriptions were perfect. My only critique is that when they reached their climax, the moment felt a little abrupt—I would have loved a bit more detail to truly savor that peak of intensity.
Overall, I highly recommend this book! If you’re looking for a passionate love story with intense chemistry, steamy scenes, and a powerful, devoted man who worships the ground the heroine walks on, this one is for you. It’s the perfect fantasy brought to life, and I guarantee you’ll be hooked just like I was!
