This past week, I’ve been on a serious reading streak. After finishing my first dark mafia romance (which I’ll be talking about soon… 😉), I finally had the time to reconnect with my love for reading and get inspired by the incredible stories my fellow writers are putting out into the world.

That’s when I picked up Leave Behind—a book I’d seen floating around on my TikTok For You Page for a while. I’d always meant to read it, but somehow kept choosing other titles instead. But once I found out it was being released in paperback, I knew it was time. And now? I totally understand the hype.

From the very first page, I was hooked. I couldn’t stop reading, and in less than two days, I was done—heart full, eyes a little misty, and honestly wishing I had read it slower just so I could stay in that world a little longer.

What I loved the most? The feeling this book gave me. The story is fast-paced and emotional, with action scenes so well-written, I had to wonder if the author had a military background. And the FMC? An absolute badass. I love a strong female lead who doesn’t let anyone intimidate her—and she gave us that and more.

The bond between Nell and Bradshaw was everything—intense, electric, and full of layers. And don’t even get me started on Eren… I won’t spoil anything, but I cried. He was my favorite from the beginning.

Leave Behind is one of those books that stays with you long after the final page. It’s emotional, fierce, full of heart-pounding moments and tender ones too. If you’re into action-packed dark romance with just the right amount of love, this one’s for you.

I totally recommend it. And yes… I’ll definitely be reading it again. 💥🖤
